Cookie Policy
Effective 12 July 2026
We keep cookies to a minimum, and nothing beyond the essentials is ever set without your consent. Here’s exactly what we store on your device and why.
1. Strictly necessary
__Host-wsx_session— a secure, http-only cookie that keeps you signed in. Without it, sign-in doesn’t work. It expires after 30 days or when you sign out. (If sign-in is provided through Clerk, Clerk sets equivalent session cookies for the same purpose.)
Because these are essential to a service you asked for, they don’t require consent.
2. Advertising & measurement — only with your consent
If we’re running ads, we may ask (via the cookie banner) to set measurement cookies from Meta, TikTok, or Google so we can tell whether our own advertising works. These load only after you choose “Accept all” — choosing “Essential only” keeps your visit free of them, and the site works identically either way. Our web analytics (Vercel Web Analytics) is cookieless and doesn’t identify you.
3. Local storage (not cookies)
In your browser we may keep small preferences in local storage — for example your favourite creators in the Studio, and your cookie choice itself. This data stays on your device.
4. Third parties
When you check out, Stripe may set its own cookies on Stripe’s pages to process the payment securely and prevent fraud — governed by Stripe’s policy.
5. Managing cookies
You can change your mind any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser (the banner will ask again), and you can block cookies in browser settings. Blocking the strictly-necessary cookie will stop you from staying signed in.
6. Email preferences are separate
Cookies control what happens on the site. To control email, use the Unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or email privacy@wessages.com. See the Privacy Policy for details.
